The campaign: With 27% of pupils yet to experience a trip outside the classroom this academic year, Hyundai UK is tackling the problem head on with The Great British School Trip, help young people create memories that last a lifetime by getting them on once-in-a-lifetime school trips.

What we did: We built out the experience, creating a multi-year campaign that inspires young people with memorable school trips, supported by educational content and a promotional microsite designed to reach teachers.

My role: Built the programme from scratch, and driven the growth of the account by pushing for the programme to power Hyundai’s marketing & PR. I designed and support the build of the microsite as well as designing the marketing plan for how we communicated to teachers. I oversaw the creation of the campaign brand.


Impact:

  • Helped 90,000 young people to attend school trips since the programme launched in January 2023

  • Visiting 1045 venues from 3712

  • Funded by over 1500 bursaries

  • Gained 502 pieces of coverage nationally

  • PR reach in the millions

  • Highly Commended for the Drum Social Purpose Award for Education

  • Shortlisted for the Purpose Awards
